“No matter what stage you are at, if you are starting out from scratch ready to build a website, or if you want to take your blog to the next level, Kerri’s coaching and mentoring will help you get there. I know you will leave each session motivated and wanting to learn more”
I am a freelance writer. For years I have been meaning to look into making improvements on my travel blog. But procrastination always seemed to kick in. I first met Kerri on a press trip and discovered she manages a successful blog. Then I started talking to Kerri about where I was at with my blogging. And I realised I was in the ‘blogging vortex’ a description she has given to a stage bloggers often arrive at, where you have invested plenty of time and money, but not seen any traction or increase traffic to your website.
After we met, I ummed and ahhhed some more, thinking I would set time aside to look over previous blogging courses, check out YouTube for some tips etc. Of course that never really happened. And then Covid-19 hit. My work dried up and I had ‘real’ time to dedicate to that neglected blog. I asked Kerri if we could do a one-hour coaching session, thinking this might at least get the ball going. We chatted via Zoom. I had flagged a few areas I wanted to discuss. In that 60 minutes, Kerri walked me through some of the basic fundamentals of blogging, that I hadn’t even implemented. I simply wasn’t aware! It was quite confronting but it was a starting point.
We spoke about different approaches to repair the anomalies. Since that first session, I have undertaken further coaching sessions. What blows me away each time is Kerri’s in-depth knowledge around blogging, the best practice and what works effectively, offering solutions but always involving me in making the changes, so I learn. We approach each hurdle by chunking it down into manageable components.
Her explanations are clear, not confusing and if I don’t understand something, Kerri goes back and explains it in a different way. She cuts through all the BS that is out there and explains why she considers the approach should work and always checks in that I understand why I should do something. I have said to her many times, “you just showed me how to sort that out in five minutes, it would have taken me hours in YouTube tutorials to figure that out by myself”.
From creating her own blog and building it to the success it is today, Kerri is up to speed with the best practices and shortcuts. If you value your time (who doesn’t?) engaging Kerri will save you from diving down many unnecessary rabbit holes.
No matter what stage you are at, if you are starting out from scratch ready to build a website, or if you want to take your blog to the next level, Kerri’s coaching and mentoring will help you get there. I know you will leave each session motivated and wanting to learn more.
Kerri has a friendly, easy-going manner. Her explanations are always concise and easy to understand. After each session, she follows up with a report and often sends information between sessions of suggestion to make improvements.
I would not hesitate in recommending Kerri for any website queries, issues or support you may require.
